Dorothy Ann Propes “Dottie” passed away on July 15, 2022 in Burton, Michigan. She was born on August 17, 1947 in Flint, Michigan. Dottie married the love of her life in Flint in 1974, Richard Propes. They cherished each other and the beautiful life filled with family they built together. Saturday nights were their special night; date night. Every Saturday they carved out time for just the two of them travelling to Frankenmuth. Dottie was a talented floral designer for over 40 years. During this time, she worked for numerous companies sharing her gift of floral design. Dottie loved life, she especially enjoyed nights around the bonfire sipping on a glass of wine surrounded by her wonderful family; especially her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were and will always be her rays of sunshine. Dottie was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Propes; children: Deborah Thrasher, Donna Thrasher, Tammy (Dennis) Andritsis, Christopher (Amanda) Propes, Courtney Propes; grandchildren: Brian Walker, Jeremy Thrasher, Courtland LeGrande, Cornia Privett, Olivia (JD) Upton, Gracelynn Propes, Andrew Kettlehutt, Kennedy Propes, Morgan Propes; many great grandchildren; and loving furry friend, Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Dorothy Partin; stepdad, John Frank Partin; grandson, Nickalaus Walker; and brothers: Butch Partin, Danny Partin, James Ross Partin. |
