DAY, Sharon S. - Of Flushing, age 80, died Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
Sharon was born in Flint, Michigan on March 21, 1943, the daughter of the late Leroy and Lena (Macy) Traynor. She earned her Master’s Degree in nursing and worked for Flint Schools. Sharon was involved with Home Health Care for many years before returning to Flint Schools where she retired from. Sharon loved traveling, her dog, Baxter and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are daughter, Julie and husband, Gerald Snyder;
grandson, Evan and fiancee, Courtney and granddaughter, Erica;
sister, Marian Gillies;
and 4 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and brother, Lee Traynor.
