WORTHING, Reta Grace. – of Clio, age 86, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Independence Village of Frankenmuth. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, August 1, 2016 at Clio Community Church of God, 1215 W. Vienna Rd. Pastor Jim Horn officiating. Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday from 2PM until 8PM and at the church on Monday from 10AM until the time or service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to Clio Community Church of God or Youth Haven Ranch.
Reta was born September 22, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to the late Leonard and Mildred (Rabadue) Babcock. She married Arden N. Worthing May 17, 1947 in Flint. He preceded her in death October 16, 1993. Reta was the Co-owner of Worthing Corporation for 36 years before retiring in 2002. She was a member of Clio Community Church of God. Reta enjoyed reading, baking cookies and volunteering at Lacure School.
Surviving are: Children: Ardena Johnson of Frankenmuth, Bud (Val) Worthing of Birch Run, Penny (J.R.) Bloodworth of Clio, Leonard (Denise) Worthing of Clio, Valerie (Glen) Bradow of Birch Run, Steven (Pam) Worthing of Blanchard, LA and Stuart (Sandy) Worthing of Gaines; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; Siblings: Marge Carr, Elaine Cottrell, Lennie (Norm) Rolison and Janet Tobias.
