Barbara Jean Mitton, age 80 of Durand, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel.
Barbara was born on January 27, 1944 in Davenport, Iowa. On February 23, 1963, she married Dennis Mitton in Moline, IL and together raised two sons. Barb was a member of the Durand Eagles Club, Moose Club and the Durand AmVets. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds and loved spending Christmas with her family.
Barb is survived by her husband, Dennis; her 2 sons: Dwayne (Terri) Mitton, Donald (Jennifer) Mitton; grandchildren: Brittany Mitton, Erin Branka, Amber (Austin) Komejan, Megan Mitton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and James Mckulsky and her step-brother, Jim Mckulsky, Jr.
