NOWOSIELSKI, DEBBIE LEE – Of Montrose, age 66, died Friday, July 28, 2023 at home, surrounded by loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Dr. Mary Lloyd officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 and 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 until the time of the service at 12 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Debbie was born in Flint, Michigan on October 21, 1956, the daughter of Ronald L. and Patricia L. (Alaire) Verhegghe.
She loved gardening, flowers and dogs, especially Wonder, was a very loving and caring person, who was always helping others. She also enjoyed thrift shopping and also loved to travel, especially to Hawaii.
Debbie retired from Buick Motor Division.
Surviving are children, Kevin Nowosielski, Keith Nowosielski and Mark A. Nowosielski;
husband, Kevin Burke;
mother, Pat Courter;
brother, Mark Verhegghe;
nephew, Jordan Verhegghe;
special aunt, Leona Williams.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Verhegghe; stepfather, Dale Courter and loving dog, Wonder.
