HART, Melissa Lynn - Age 58, of Flint, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Services will be held 2 PM Monday, October 4 at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the church 1 PM until the time of service. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint, MI 48507.
Melissa was born December 28, 1962 in Flint, the daughter of Vance and Beverly (McNeil) Porter. She was a 1981 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. She married Kevin Charles Hart April 30, 1987 in Sarasota, FL. She was employed as a bus driver for GISD for 11 years. Melissa was a member of Flint Central Church of the Nazarene. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband, Kevin; daughter, Stephanie (Eric) Granger of Flint; son, Ryan (Kayla) Hart of Clio; grandchildren, Emma and Jenna; brothers, Randy (Debbie) Schneider of Flint, David (Carla) Schneider of Arizona, and Ron Schneider of Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
