Lipp, John Edward - Age 76, of Genesee Township, died November 12, 2023. Memorial Services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until the service time Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
John was born January 13, 1947 in Flint the son of Harold Detoss Lipp and Mildred Vivian (Delling) Lipp. He married Yolanda Trujillo on March 17, 1969. He retired from General Motors with 42 years of service. He loved camping, NASCAR, Western movies and Sudoku puzzles. He loved his grandchildren, they were his life. John was the rock of the family for everyone.
Surviving are: his wife of 54 years, Yolanda; children, John Edward Lipp II, Jeffrey Alan (Lisa) Lipp; grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Kyle, Sydnee, Brayden, Bridgett, Nicole; great-grandchildren, Paxten and Lena; siblings, Linda (Henley), Brenda, Patty, Joseph "Buddy", Timothy; many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mildred; siblings, Raymond, Harold (Barbara), Richard (Frances), Cheryl, Charlotte (Bob); father and mother in-law, Alvaro and Aurora Trujillo; brothers-in-law, Alvaro O.
