FOX, Audrey E. – of Flint, formerly of Gladwin, age 96, passed Wednesday, December 1, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Patricia Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Audrey was born in Davison, MI on May 14, 1925, daughter of the late Charles and Ruby (Bostrum) Gatzemeyer. She married James Fox and he preceded her in death in 1981. Audrey graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1943. She worked at AC during WWII and Election Board for 20 years. Audrey liked going to the casino, traveling, the outdoors, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Audrey is survived by her children, Timothy Fox and Thomas (Mary Ellen) Fox; daughter-in-law, Joanie Fox; grandchildren, Kaley, Suzanne, Bretton, Bryon, Joey, Nickalas, Michael, Katie, Ian, Kara, Matt, Robert and Hannah; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Doris Jean Newton, Vicky Wiltz, Jerome Gatzemeyer, Nancy, Randy and Bill Howarth, Richard Gatzemeyer, Sharon and Linda; and many other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, James; she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Fox; daughter-in-law, Sue Ann Fox; siblings, Dorothy Rumph, Veda Houser, Charles, Jerome, Gerald, Marjorie Howarth.
