He was raised in Houghton Lake and attended Houghton Lake High School. Douglas married Elisa Luna on October 15, 2005. He was a gamer, and played every Sunday with his Madden football gaming league. Douglas was an avid Michigan State fan. He is survived by his wife Elisa; Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Daniel Donaldson.
