MILLER, Theresa Frieda (Hoeberling) – of Burton, MI, age 87, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 South Genesee Road, Burton, MI 48519; Pastor Mark Matheny officiating. Interment in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors 11:30 AM-1:30 PM Thursday, January 19, 20223 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church, in Theresa’s memory.
Theresa was born in Hubbard Lake, MI on May 9, 1935, daughter of the late Adolph and Marie (Steinbrenner) Hoeberling. She married Joseph Earl Miller on February 13, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison, MI. Joe preceded her in death on March 12, 2017. Theresa was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting and making ceramics. Theresa absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy (Steve) Caudell and Denise (Tom) Brown; 3 grandchildren, Erin (Franklin) Caudell, Scott (Susan) Caudell and Crystal (Matt) Zandarski; 8 great-grandchildren, Oscar, Agnes, Harvey, Opal, Obsidian, Linwood, Hawthorn and Noah; 2 siblings, Lydia Lang and Adie (Carolyn) Hoeberling; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn (John) Schleben and Carolyn Miller; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Marie Hoeberling; husband, Joseph “Joe” Miller; 4 siblings, Emma Jaeger, Esther Schultz, Helen Petrick and Al Hoeberling.
