COOPER, Sharon Rose (Hipkins) – of Clio, age 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 12PM until 8PM and on Sunday from 12PM until the time of service at 2PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
Sharon was born December 3, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Dolores (Burns) Hipkins. She married the love of her life, Clyde L. Cooper on December 2, 1967. Sharon’s passions in life were her family, gardening, quilting, and crafts.
Surviving are: Loving husband of 55 years, Clyde Cooper; Son, Robert Cooper (Michelle Carsten); Daughter, Kimmi Mann-Cooper (Nathan Sharpe); Grandsons: Glennie, Bryan, Trenton, Robby, Ricky, Brandon, and Trevor Michael; Granddaughters: Chrissy, Brandi, Sydney, Leslie, Arora, Jaimee Lee, Brooke, and Brianne; 4 great grandchildren: Evan, Payton, Emilyn, and Reagan Rose; Sisters: Ann (Ron) Cooper, and Pamela Hipkins; Brothers: Rich (Sue) Hipkins, and Bobby Hipkins; Many Brothers and sisters in law; Several greatly loved nieces and nephews; Many other loving family members and dear friends.
