FINCH, Garrison E. – Of Swartz Creek, age 86, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Garrison was born in Flint, Michigan on November 8, 1935, the son of the late Harvey E. and Vivian C. (Partridge) Finch.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing and camping with his daughter and son-in-law.
Mr. Finch retired from General Motors at AC Spark Plug Division after 41 years of service.
Surviving are son, David Finch;
step-son, Larry Finch;
son-in-law, Raymond Wedding;
many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
2 sisters, Gwendolyn and Gloria.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evalee and daughter, Debra Wedding.
