Debbie Jean (Maples) Jones, age 59, passed away peacefully in her home in Grayling surrounded by family on Monday, October 15, 2018. She will be forever remembered for her good humor, laugh, smile, positive thinking, courage, strength, friendship, advice giving selfless nature and her strong faith in God. Debbie’s interests were playing (and dominating) horse shoes, bowling, card games, crafts, sewing, kayaking, tubing and snowmobiling. Her loves were camping and spending times with friends and family, especially her children, grandchildren and God. She was preceded in death by both parents Victor Clute and Betty Orm, sister Cheri Otto and two husbands Dan Maples and Douglas Jones. She will be forever missed by her brothers Victor (Lori) Clute and Rodger Clute, Sister Brenda Clute and her children Daniel (Tiffany) Maples, Kasey Maples and Stevey Maples. Also surviving are her grandchildren Kane, Aurora, Amelia, Penelope, Ellie, John and Kristin. A time to share memories with the family will be held on Sunday, October 21 , 2018 from 1-5pm at the American Legion Hall, 1701 W. Genessee Street, Lapeer, Michigan.
