BOUCHARD, Kenneth Michael - Of Holly, age 59, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his residence.
Kenneth Michael Bouchard was born in Flint, Michigan on July 3rd, 1962 to the lovely parents of Richard and Ellen Bouchard and as the seventh child of twelve. After high school, Kenny took off to sunny California where he met and married the love of his life, Valyre Bouchard on August 18th, 1983 and they enjoyed 38 bountiful years. He raised two daughters, whom he loved with all his heart. Kenny always brought laughter and cheer to any gathering and could be counted on to crack a joke and lift your spirits with his cheerful attitude. He found solace in simplicity and humility. Above all he valued hard work and emulated it, as he contributed to the oversight and hands on building of the better part of most of Detroit. His carpentry skills were of a master level, and he had the ability to build magnificent things from almost nothing, effortlessly. His legacy goes on as he is survived by his wife, Valyre Bouchard of Holly, MI. Daughters Brigitte Welles of Las Vegas, NV, and Sarah Williams and her husband, Caleb Williams of Huntington, TX. Also survived by grandchildren, Athena Welles, Levi Williams, Lyla Williams and Luke Williams. Siblings: Jill and husband Bruce Boder, Joni Bouchard, Kerry and wife Patty Bouchard, Julie and husband Dale Moran, Keith Bouchard, Jerilyn and husband John Strien, Ellen and husband Sam Pruitt, Janie and husband Carl Pizzarello, Richard and wife Star Bouchard and Mary and husband Sean Carlin. Proceeded in death by sister Joy Echols. The celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at Swartz Funeral Home at 1225 W. Hill Rd. Flint, MI. Visitation hours will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Sunday, August 8th and the funeral will be at 11:00am on Monday, August 9th. Pastor Graham will officiate the services. The pallbearers will be Kerry Bouchard, Keith Bouchard, Richard Bouchard Jr., Caleb Williams, Jeremiah Bouchard and Brian Bouchard. The honorary pallbearers are Levi Williams and Luke Williams and many more who are not mentioned here.
