Desiree was born July 18, 1983 in Flint, the daughter of Joseph A. and Lisa M.(Bowman) Villagomez, Jr.. She graduated from Flint Central High School and attended Mott Community College.
Desiree is survived by: her son, Elijah King Cherry; Elijah's father, Tony Cherry; father, Joseph A. Villagomez, Jr.; siblings, Joseph A. Villagomez III, Marcos Whar Villagomez, Sinclair Gillmore, and Savanaha Gillmore; grandparents, Joseph and Kathy Villagomez Sr., Rosie Bowman, Joe Jacobs, Bob Bowman; stepmother, Diane Black; stepfather, Christopher Gillmore; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
