Mary Lucille Hoover, age 92, went home to see her Lord and Savior on July 21, 2020 in Owosso, Michigan. Mary Lucille was born on August 15, 1927 on Island 35 in the middle of Mississippi River between Arkansas and Tennessee. Mary moved to Blytheville, Arkansas in 1937. She married Hiram C. Hoover on August 5, 1942 and moved to Michigan, picking cherries along the way. She enjoyed playing bingo whenever she got the opportunity to go and she’d beat you to the door. Mary Lucille is survived by her three sons: David C. (Patti) Hoover of Swartz Creek, Richard E. (Sandy) Hoover of Wichita, KS, and Timothy R. (JoAnn) of Wichita, KS; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Alfred Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram C. “HC” Hoover; sons: James Hoover and Michael Hoover; granddaughter, Keisha Hoover. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Memorial Healthcare – Long Term Healthcare in Owosso for their continuous care and support. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at Brown Funeral Home followed by interment at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris. |
