PAVEGLIO, Louis J. – OF age 90, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Brookdale Memory Care.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 P.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at
St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc, Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced
Visitation 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the Mass at church.
Louis was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on October 19, 1930, the son of the late Guido and Mary (Portalli) Paveglio.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart.
He married Nancie Langlois on December 27, 1958 and she preceded him in death on November 1, 2015.
Mr. Paveglio was a school teacher at Kearsley Schools. He was a driving trainer’s instructor.
He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Goodrich and was a K of C Davison 4th Degree, and member of the Lost Lake Woods Club.
He enjoyed golfing and bowling, but mostly he enjoyed attending games and activities of his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Carole (Bill) Kiefiuk,
Bonnie (Scott) Robison,
Robert Paveglio,
Anthony (Susan),
Thomas(Stacie) and
John Paveglio;
9 grandchildren, Kelsey and Allison Kiefiuk, Chad (Chayna) Robison,
Chase Robison (Amber), Louis and Carrie Paveglio,
Janae Paveglio (Jordan) Chappell, Trent and Maria Paveglio;
great-grandchildren, Chloe, Cam'Ron, Emma, Reid, Ariah-Mae, Hudson and Tessa;
brothers and sister, John Paveglio, James (Jan) Paveglio and Carmen Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Matthew and brother, Carmelo.
