ODEN, DAVID LEE – Of Swartz Creek, age 63, entered into Heaven on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
David was born on December 28, 1960, the son of Robert and Bonnie (Swisher) Oden in Flint, Michigan.
He attended Atherton Community Schools and graduated in 1979.
David worked at various garages as a Master Mechanic. He also built many race car motors. He loved watching cowboy shows and NASCAR.
He also loved gardening and planted a garden yearly.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Pace of Swartz Creek;
son, Nicholas Oden of Clarkston;
brother, Larry Oden of Swartz Creek and
sister, Debbie Proffer of Auburn Hills.
David is also survived by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Oden and several family members.
