Fizell, Roland Gary "Ron"- Age 82, of Flint, died November 25, 2019. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday, November 30 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions in lieu of flowers to the Humane Society of Genesee County . Roland was born February 16, 1937 in Bayfield, Wisconsin, the son of Dewey and Geneva (Moe) Fizell. He married Patricia Louise Burns on May 29, 1958 in Flint. He worked at GM - Metal Fab as an Electrician retiring after many years of service. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was a longtime member of the Petoskey Antler Club in Rapid River MI. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was an avid runner, active in the running community, Riverbend Striders and the Crim. Surviving are: wife of 61 years Patricia; three children, Edward (Julie ) Fizell of Flint, Timothy (Kim) Fizell of Goodrich, Cynthia (Ken) Wright of Lexington KY; five grandchildren, Megan Fizell (Jon Goh), Jospeh Fizell, Brian Bourcier, Kristen Fizell, Nicole (Logan) Hess; two great-granddaughters, Brae and Bailey Bourcier; siblings, Gloria (Van) Peterson, Jacqueline Weishun, Michael (Kay) Fizell, James (Jackie) Fizell, Richard (Jeanne) Fizell; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
