EVANS, Ibera “Virginia” (Brindle) - Age 84, of Flint Township, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. In accordance with Virginia’s wishes cremation will take place. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Virginia was born on July 1, 1937 in Cherokee, NC, the daughter of Robert and Mae (Murphy) Brindle. She graduated from Swain County High School in Bryson, NC. Virginia worked out of her home as a cosmetologist for many years. She and Donald Evans were united in marriage on November 25, 1960 in Flushing. Virginia was a member of the Lennon Wesleyan Church. In her free time she enjoyed raising her 4 boys and cosmetology.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Evans; 3 sons, Thomas (Cathy) Evans, Michael Evans and Mark (Cheryl) Evans; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and brother and 2 sisters, James, Janice and Louise.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, son, Scott Evans, and siblings, Eugene, Nancy and Irene. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
