LANDERS, Robert Arnold - age 91, of Fenton, died April 8, 2021. Private family services will be held with burial at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia. The service will be live streamed and may be viewed at 2 PM, Friday April 16, 2021 on Robert's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice or Great Lakes National Cemetery Advisory Council, P.O. Box, 227, Holly, MI 48442 for the Avenue of Flags. Robert was born September 2, 1929 in Detroit, the son of James Monroe and Maria J. (MacIntosh) Landers. He married Marlene Hawkins in 1949 and she preceded him in death in 2018. Robert retired from General Motors / AC Spark Plug. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle, boating and spending time at his cabin up north. Robert also was an active volunteer at Great Lakes National Cemetery with maintenance of the Avenue of Flags. Surviving are: children, Penny (John) Lucia, Bonnie (Bill) Wentz, Teresa (Walter) McCurdy, Kenneth Landers, Robert Landers, Laura Thomas, Thomas (Diane) Landers, John (Diane) Landers; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Florence Schuneman.
