ROBERTS, Mary Elizabeth – Of Bay City, formerly of Flint, age 77, died Friday, December 26, 2014 in Bay City, Michigan.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Paul Ytterock officiating.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mary was born December 25, 1937, daughter of the late Fredrick and Catherine (Auld) Roberts.
Mary retired from the Flint Board of Education in 1997.
Mary graduated from Mott Nurses Aid Program, where she did private duty for many years. Her pride and joy was her family, who surrounded her with love all the way to the end.
She loved going up north with her family, fishing, playing cards, sitting by the fire and loved playing Bingo.
Mary has three sons, Bob Goss of Au Gres,
Tom and Gina Goss of Florida,
Bill Goss of Lansing;
one daughter, Cathy and husband Scott McRorie of Au Gres;
11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, whom she was so proud of and was able to enjoy many many special memories with them.
Mary is preceded in death by her dear sister, Cathy Seifferly, whom she was very close to.
