Age 77, of Tawas City, MI and formerly of Flint, MI died on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Bentley, MI on April 22, 1941 to the late Stanley and Helen Gliniecki (nee Szczygiel). Robert spent most of his life in the Flint area where he worked at Goodwill on special projects. He was a very talented artist who enjoyed cars but could be found all over Flint riding his bicycle. Robert also enjoyed to travel, camp, hunt, fish and play bingo, checkers and cards. He is survived by his brother James (Susan) Gliniecki of Columbiaville, MI, sister Janet (Randy) Modrok of East Tawas, MI; and 7 nieces and nephews, Debbie Gliniecki, Cheryl Rodriguez, Becky Gliniecki, James (Jennifer) Gliniecki, Christine (Ted) Reddish, Todd (Lori) Paskins and Jacqueline Meyers. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley in 1978 and mother Helen in 1995. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas, MI.
