WILLIAMS, Shirley G. - Of Flint, age 89, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at The Lodges of Durand.
Per Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced and take place in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Association or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Shirley was born in Cardiff, Wales on August 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Phillip and Mariah Roberts. Shirley was active with the annual Crim Race. She enjoyed mall walking, arts and crafts and especially loved her animals and spending time with her family. Shirley retired from General Motors SPO after many years of service.
Surviving are children, David (Susan) Williams of Durand, Sian (Robert) Pistolesi of Flint, Stephen (Elizabeth) Williams of Owosso and Keli (Aliza) Williams of Linden;
Granddaughters, Shelby Williams and partner, Eric Scharrer and their son, Bryson of Davison and Tracey Williams of Owosso;
And many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and five brothers, Kenneth, Ray, Vivian, Gerald and Howard.
