Ellen R. Schlegel, of Flushing, Michigan, age 73 passed away Friday, March 4, 2022. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Gathering will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Rossell Funeral Home.
Ellen was born in Rogers City, Michigan on December 11, 1948 to Emmett and Grace (Wenzel) Teeples, the youngest of seven siblings. She married Henry N. Schlegel on August 11, 1979 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Flushing.
Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Hank Schlegel; son, Cory (Valerie) Buse; sister, Linda (Robert) Urlaub; nieces and nephews, Mike (Connie) Saucier, Kris (Bobby) Urlaub, Jenelle (Kellen) Kangas, Heidi (Fernando) Floers, Susie (Joe), Tim Teeples, and Jerry Teeples; and many friends. She was preceded in death by five siblings and her parents. |
