WILKINSON, Michael Everett – of Flint, age 73, died Saturday, July 25, 2026. Honoring Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time.
Michael was born January 9, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to the late Manuel and Geraldine (McKnight) Wilkinson. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Hamady High School with the class of 1971. Michael proudly served his country in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina for over 7 years. He worked as a Handyman in construction all of his life. Michael will be forever grateful to his friend James Horne and his mother Linda Horne for taking him in and letting him stay with them. Linda made sure that Michael got medical care and was signed up for benefits. He helped them with upgrades to their home and was loved by all of the Horne family.
Surviving are: Sister, Nancy Persons; Children, Shannon Greene, Chad (Jennifer) Wilkinson; Grandchildren, Macie Greene, Jackson Greene, Wyatt Wilkinson; Mother of his children, Debra Waugh; many nieces and nephews.
