Jacqueline Joyce Shepp, of Flushing, Michigan, age 86, passed away on September 21, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Fr. Tom Firestone will officiate. Burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of the Mass. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center.
Jackie was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 21, 1936. She married the love of her life, Robert Shepp, and together they had seven children. Jackie was an incredibly kind and caring person whose selflessness made her such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved being outdoors in nature and was a true animal and pet lover. Jackie volunteered her time at St. Luke’s food pantry and was a former member of the Red Hat Society. She loved watching Hallmark Channel and Lifetime movies and the company of her beloved dog, Romeo, but most of all she loved time with her family, especially her great-grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Michelle (Tom) Strieter, Susan Shepp, Mickey (Kristine) Shepp, and Darcy Shepp; grandchildren, Christine (Eli Carroll) Shepp, Lindsey (Eric) Sams, Taylor (Ben) Morrow, Karli (Travis) Brubaker, Erica Strieter, Austin Shepp, Connor Shepp, Layton Anderson, Vincent Schlum, and Megan Tolbert; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Rylee, Grace, and Cameron; brother, Robert Block; and daughters-in-law, Larissa and Karen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shepp, Sr.; sons, Robert Shepp, Jr., Dennis Shepp, Daniel Shepp; siblings, Shirley, Joyce, and Jerry; and her parents, Aloysius and Hazel Block. |
