MCCRILLIS, Maxine Joan – of Clio, age 81, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at McLaren Flint Healthcare. Honoring Maxine’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Maxine was born January 6, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Leroy and Dorthea Licquia. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1983. On August 9, 1954 she married Donald McCrillis in Flint, Michigan. Prior to her retirement in 2000, Maxine worked for Buick as a line worker with 32 years of service. She was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders in Flint, Michigan. Maxine enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and bird watching. She also enjoyed playing euchre, board games, and going to the beach. However, her greatest joy in life was her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband of 64 years, Donald; Children, Donald (Chelly) McCrillis, Kendra McCrillis, Cynthia Tadrick, Debbie (Richard) Hammel, LuAnn (Edward) Ferguson, Michele (Todd) McGuire; 14 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren and 2 on the way; Siblings, Donald (Sue) Licquia, Jerry (Karen) Licquia; several nieces and nephews.
