MILLETTE, Marcella E. (Engel) – of Clio, age 89, beloved mother, went to her eternal home in heaven on Friday, March 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 4PM Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Bob Leming officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 4PM. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Marcella was born April 28, 1927 in Frankenmuth, Michigan to the late August and Emma (Frank) Engel. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School and Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for Nursing. Marcella married Loren R. Millette in August 26, 1950. He preceded her in death March 31, 2011. She retired as a Registered Nurse after 29 years. Marcella also owned and operated Vienna Greens Golf Course. She Loved her family and enjoyed family get togethers, nature walks, and trips up north. Marcella enjoyed sewing her own clothing and knitting sweaters. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to Europe, Australia, China and all around the country. Surviving are: Daughters: Mary Jane Key of Clio, and Teresa (Duane) Casselman of Clio; 3 grandchildren Lindy (Jason) Murphy, Michael Arnold Jr., and Joshua Arnold; 3 great grandchildren: Dylan Murphy, Taryn Murphy, and Michael Arnold III; Marcella was also preceded in death by her brothers: Marvin and Victor Engel.
