BROWN, Diane Kay - age 79 of Swartz Creek, died October 2, 2023. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday, October 6, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Pastor Guy Lockrey. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Thursday, October 5, 2023, and 12 PM - 1 PM Friday, October 6, 2023. Diane was born November 26, 1943, in Saginaw, MI the daughter of Leonard Edward and Violet (Knight) Meehleder. She married Charles N. Brown on August 6, 1966, in Flint. Diane was a seamstress with Troy Cleaners for 24 years retiring in 2003. Surviving are: husband, Charles Brown Sr.; daughter, Kay Lockrey (spouse, Guy Lockrey); son, Charles Brown II; grandchildren, Joshua Lockrey, Stephanie Peck (spouse, Chad Peck), Ryan Lockrey (fiancée, Natalie Whitlock; Charles Brown III, Aubrey Brown (Logan Sharp); great-grandchildren, Dylan Peck, Colton Peck, Maya Sharp, Ariaha Haswell, and Kailee Killips; brothers, Lloyd (Jo) Meehleder and Terry Meehleder. She was preceded in death by: parents, Leonard and Violet Meehleder; daughter, Violet Meehleder; son, Ryan Cole; four brothers; and two sisters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
