GEISENHAVER, Kurt Alan - Age 60, of Otisville, died Sunday November 28, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center, with family by his side. Funeral services will be held 6PM Thursday December 2, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Deacon Mike Martin officiating. ( A live stream of the service will be available on Kurt's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Visitation will be held 1PM until time of service on Thursday. Kurt was born June 14, 1961 in Flint, the son of Robert Willis and Marlene Theresa (Bertaso) Geisenhaver. He married Cynthia "Shorty" Ortiz Adrian in Laughlin, NV on October 14, 2017. Kurt retired from Consumers Power with 28 years of service. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, gold mining, welding, working on Jeeps and collecting lanterns. Kurt always looked forward to going to Arizona to spend time with his son Curt and meeting his new grandson Axel. He also enjoyed when people talked about his laugh, dancing in his chair and his smile. Surviving are: wife, Cynthia "Shorty" Geisenhaver of Otisville, children, Stephanie Bosley of Davison, Curt (Kate) Geisenhaver of AZ; grandchildren, Carter Schlaud, Axel Ryan Geisenhaver and mother, Marlene Geisenhaver. Kurt is also survived by his K-9 companion, Princess; siblings, George Geisenhaver, Tony (Jamie) Geisenhaver; mother-in-law, Lydia Ortiz; sisters-in-law, Bea Ortiz, Veronica Mondo-Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Able Ortiz; many nieces and nephews and Ortiz family. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Geisenhaver; brother Robert Geisenhaver and bother-in-law, Rick Adrian.
