Jamie R. Cooney age 50 of Durand, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Memorial Healthcare Center. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Pastor John Walworth will be officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Jamie Renea Cooney was born January 22, 1973 in Owosso, a daughter of Joe and Sharon (Bohman) Cooney. She was an auxiliary member of the Durand V.F.W. Jamie enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, going to the ocean, camping, and animals. She worked as a beautician for 10 years in North Carolina before moving back to Michigan.
Jamie is survived by her children, Jeffrey Stull and June Cooney; grandson, Cooper; parents, Joe and Sharon Cooney; siblings, Sean Cooney, Shannon Sawyer and Joseph P. Cooney II.
