COLLINS, Meredith L. “Mike” – Of Swartz Creek, age 61, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bob Roberts officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Meredith was born in Flint, Michigan on December 22, 1952 and was a resident of the Genesee County area all of his life.
Mike graduated from Grand Blanc High School.
He was a member of the Buick and Corvair Clubs of America.
Mr. Collins was employed by Buick Motor Division for 30 years.
Surviving are mother, Muriel Collins;
nephew, Kevin P. Collins, Jr.;
great-niece, Samantha Stasik;
sister-in-law, Peggy Collins;
ex-wife, Susie Padgett;
special friends Robin Banks and Matthew Lande.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo P. Collins and brother, Kevin P. Collins Sr.
