MUEHLFELD, John “Jack” – of Clio, age 83, went peacefully home to be with his Lord Friday, December 30, 2022, at Ascension Genesys of Grand Blanc. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Jack was born June 1, 1939, in Vienna Township, to the late Ralph and Arlene (Close) Muehlfeld. He attended Birch Run Community Schools where he received his high school diploma and worked as a mechanic for Freeman Pontiac and Webster and Garner in Clio. He proudly retired after 50 years of service. For 56 years, Jack was married to the love of his life and best friend, Kay (Atkin) Muehlfeld. He was loyal member of St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio and liked being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. Jack loved spending time with his family, especially when bonfires and cookouts were involved. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as mowing the lawn and tending to his garden. Above all, Jack was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend who will be truly missed.
Jack is forever loved by his loving wife, Kay Muehlfeld; Children: Becky (Howard Adolph) Muehlfeld, Brenda (Jared) Reed, and Hollie (Eric) Wagner; Grandchildren: Shelby (Ryan) Wolverton, Dalton (Gracelyn) Reed, Will Lewis, Addisen Wagner, and Avery Wagner; Great grandchildren: Kendall, Bentley, Everleigh, Layne, and Miss Baby Reed due February 2023; Sister, Donna Middleton; Several nieces, nephews, bothers and sisters-in-law, and other beloved family members. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Arlene; In-laws, George (Catherine) Atkin; Other beloved extended family. |
