TABER, John L. - Of Lennon, age 79, died Friday, April 15, 2022
at Hurley Medical Center.
A memorial visitation will be held 2-6pm Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the family home.
Cremation has taken place.
John was born in Flint, Michigan on November 13, 1942, the son of Clarence and Maud (Porter) Taber. John served in the United States Air Force from 1962-66. He was an ironworker and was a member of Local #25. He was also a member of the Eagles, Moose, and the American Vets. John was a volunteer fireman in Lennon, Michigan.
Surviving are wife, Margaret “Kay” Taber;
daughter, Tina and husband, Joseph Jones;
son, Abe and wife, Lori;
grandchildren, Justin, Katilyn, Miriya and Jared;
great-grandchildren, Edward and Alec;
and sister, Charlotte Riffle.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maud Taber and brothers, Dan and Roger.
