HILL, Bonnie Lorraine - Of Grand Blanc, age 79, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at her residence.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Bonnie was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Raymond and Freda Schefter.
Bonnie (Mom) was a nurse her entire career. She loved helping people. She worked as a nurse until she physically couldn’t do it anymore. She was in her late 60’s when she retired and it killed her that she couldn’t do it anymore.
She also had a love for animals. It didn’t matter if it was a feral cat, a stray dog, or a ground hog. She would feed and water the animals, neuter/spay them at her cost, & get them shots at her cost. She loved St. Francis of Assisi and had a few statues of him! When we were kids we had pets of all kinds at one time or another. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, fish, you name it. One time her aquarium broke, the fish came out on the floor and she got them all up, cleaned them up, and saved them all!
She loved her family. It always made her day to see all of us together. Anytime you talked to her she would ask how everyone was. Give everyone a hug she would say, and tell them I love them.
Heaven received a very special person. We lost a dearly loved one but heaven gained an angel with a heart of gold. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
Surviving are sons, Kevin (Maggie) Jones, Keith Jones and Kenneth (Marie) Jones;
grandchildren, Kara (Dave) Geeham, Karina (Scott) Spencer, Julie (Donald) Sawyer, Kevin Jones, Jr., Scott (Vikki) Lewis, Roseann (Chris) Pleins, Raymond Krol, Kenneth Jr. (Shelby) Jones and Collin Jones;
great-granchildren, Kameron, Mavis, Charlotte, Aiden, Travis, Denum, Benjamin, Zariah, Genesis, Scotty, Tyler, Brayden, Johanna, Arianna, Emmerson and Jackson;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alan and sister, Marlene Lijana.
