Glen "Bud" Eugene Mullet, age 94, was born on August 31, 1927 to the late Beno and Anna (Hopkins) Mullet in Flint, Michigan. After living a long and happy life with his beloved wife, Dolores, Bud passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
Bud enjoyed many things in life, believing that you should never look back, only forward because there were so many beautiful things waiting for you. Throughout his 94 years, he could always be found working on some kind of project, between landscaping and flipping houses in Traverse City with Dolores to enjoying puzzles and helping those around him. In his spare time, Bud enjoyed cheering for his favorite football team, the Oregon Ducks, and meeting many celebrities; most memorable being John Wayne, whom Bud stated was a very great man. He also took immense pride in protecting his country, serving in the Army Air Force during World War II on the west coast and supporting his fellow Veterans throughout his life. Following his enlistment in the military, Bud was introduced to his wife, Dolores, and spent 30 wonderful years by her side in Michigan.
Bud is survived by his wife, Dolores Mullet; son, John (Carla) Mullet; daughter, April Jeffries; sons, Bradley (Trang) LaLonde and Curtis (Dawn) LaLonde; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna (Hopkins) Mullet; father, Beno Mullet; daughter, Jill Parsons; and sisters, Virginia and Ethel.
Visitation for Bud will be held on July 28, 2022 from 10am to 11am with a service to follow at 11am at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442, following the services at Hill Funeral Home.
