PASCHKET, Raymond J. – Of Linden, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at his residence.
A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, with Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service and a private burial at Evergreen Cemetery will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 3:00pm on Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Raymond was born in Flint, Michigan on September 16, 1944, the son of the late George and Gladys (Morissette) Paschket. Raymond retired from General Motors after 44 years of service in machine repair. He had his pilot license and lived and breathed flying. Raymond was also an avid bowler.
Surviving are children, Karen (Chris) Pritchard, Raymond (Debra) Paschket II, John (Shelley) Paschket, Brian Ray (ChrisTina) Paschket and Rebecca Joy Hanson;
grandchildren, Alex and Daniel (Hunter), Rachel and Hannah, Emily, Dakota, Natalie, Elijah and Odin;
great-grandchildren, Liam, Jamison and Olivia Rae;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Paschket, brothers, Richard, David and Ronald and nephew, Ronald.
