Onalee R. Lader
Age 92 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Memorial Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12noon until the time of service.
Onalee was born October 16, 1921 in Flint, the daughter of Ora Wesley and Ada (Burton) Gray.
She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers and will be remembered for her famous family kolachi’s. Onalee loved spending time with her family and was the “Rock” that kept her family together.
She was a homemaker and spent her life raising her family along with working in various factories during War Time.
Onalee is survived by her children Sheila (Nuray) Baydar, Charles L. (Jacquelyn) Lader and Gene (Sandra) Lader; 6 granddaughters Angela, Stephanie, Stacey, Vanessa, Sheena and Alyssa; grandson Adam; 3 great-grandchildren Alex, Nathaniel and Isabelle.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles, son Scott Lader, 5 brothers and a sister.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
