Irish, Patricia “Pat” – of Clio, age 85, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at West Vienna Methodist Church. Burial will follow at West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday at O’ Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio from 5PM until 8PM, and on Wednesday at Church from 12PM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Simpson Park Camp, or West Vienna Methodist Church.
Pat was born November 11, 1936, in Flint, Michigan, she was born to the late Dale and Donna (Stoolmaker) Dennis. She graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1954. Pat graduated from Detroit College of Business with her Associates Degree. Pat married William Irish on June 25, 1955. She worked for Kettering University as an Administrative Assistant for 10 years. Pat was a member of West Vienna Methodist Church, where she played organ for the Church for many years (since she was 15). Pat loved volunteering at the Clio Senior Center and at Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and sewing. Pat loved studying her bible, playing piano, and reading. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be missed by many.
Surviving are: husband of 67 years, Bill Irish; Children: Dayna (William) Wright, Jan Irish, Dennis (Sherri) Irish, Tricia (Ron Leszczynski) Hashimoto, and Anita (Robert) Stark; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
