Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place Saturday,
July 16th from 12:00pm-3:00pm at The Juan Diego Hall at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church G-2316 W. Coldwater Rd. Mt. Morris Twp. William was born in Flint, MI on March 2nd, 1954. He was the third child of LLoyd and Helen Wolf. He attended St. Matthews High School and graduated from Flint Central High School in 1972 after which he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served valiantly as a Rocket Launcher Engineer during the evacuation of Vietnam and was Honorably discharged in 1974. He worked at General Motors before marrying his wife, Andrea (Reyna) Wolf on May 26th, 1984. He was a proud UAW member before retiring in 2005. William was a great husband, father & had a wonderful bond with his grandchildren. A lifetime fan of all sports, he never gave up hope of seeing his Lions win a Superbowl and he was known to resort to televised cornhole or Japanese baseball when there was nothing else to watch. His interests included politics and history but most importantly he loved to be surrounded by his collection of books, records and passed his love of reading and music to all of his children-along with a dry, often dark and sometimes funny sense of humor. In 2003, Bill received the Gift of Life and spent many years advocating on their behalf. He also spent many years working with Alcoholics anonymous leading support groups. Bill was at his best when surrounded by nature. He spent hours perfecting his yard and caring for all the birds and deer that visited. Bill loved and housed more cats & dogs in his life than we could ever count and had a real love for aquariums. He loved spending the summers Up North especially with his family and fishing was one of his greatest pastimes but often would say he didn't need anything to be happy except for his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Andrea; his four children, Sarah (Jamie), Nathan (Brittany), Natalie (Adam), & Christina (Shannon); his five grandchildren, Dakota, William, Hannah, Nova & River. His brothers, Christopher & David. Preceded in death, his parents, Lloyd & Helen Wolf and sister, Mary Beth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gift of Life Michigan at: giftoflifemichigan.org
