PATTEN, Doris J. - Age 93, of Swartz Creek, passed away June 9, 2022. Funeral services will be held 3PM Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Doris was born June 3, 1929 in Gaines, the daughter of Andrew Leon and Dorothy (Rozeck) Whitehead and was a 1947 graduate of Gaines High School. She married Eugene Frederick Patten on August 2, 1947 in Swartz Creek. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2016. Doris is survived by her children, Joanne R. (Dennis) White and Nora J. Patten; daughter-in-law, Leslie Patten; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Judy; son, Larry; two brothers and two sisters.
