PRICE, HOWARD REGINALD
Age 84, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024. Born on March 11, 1940, Howard lived a life full of love, laughter, and service, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
A proud veteran, Howard served in the Army during the Vietnam era, dedicating two years of his life to his country. After his military service, he joined Eaton Manufacturing, where he worked diligently for over 30 years, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Howard was an avid outdoor enthusiast. He found immense joy in fishing, hunting, and camping, often sharing these passions with family and friends. His adventurous spirit led him to travel across the United States, visiting beautiful destinations such as Hawaii, California, Arizona, Texas, South Carolina, Nevada, Tennessee, Florida, and Missouri. A true sports fan, Howard enjoyed watching the Tigers, Pistons, and Lions, often cheering for his teams with infectious enthusiasm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Tanner and David L. Price, and his brothers, Eugene, David, and Edward Price. Howard leaves behind his beloved wife, Julia Price, and a loving family that includes his children: Reginald H. Price (Rhonda), Rodney Price, Robney Hall, Taheera Johnson (Gerry), Omar (Theodosia II), and stepchildren Timothy Morris, Henry Morris III, and Randall Morris (Stephanie). He is also survived by his siblings Nathaniel Price (Omega) and Vicki Pullium, along with 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and a host of close friends and loving relatives.
Howard was a devoted member of the Word of Life Christian Church, serving as an Ambassador and working tirelessly with “The Cause” to raise funds for Flint charities. He was known for his warm heart and generosity, always ensuring that there was candy for the children, no matter how grown they were. His friends will remember him for his unwavering spirit and his sage advice to “stay prayed up.”
A celebration of Howard’s life will be held at WORD OF LIFE Christian Church, 460 West Atherton Road, Flint at 11:30 a.m., led by Pastor George Wilkinson, on December 23rd, 2024.
Visitation 10:30 am until the time of the service, where family and friends will gather to honor the man who touched so many lives.
Howard Reginald Price will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
The family extends a special thanks to the hospice nurses and caregivers and the staff at the Swartz Funeral Home.
