SPIEGEL, Louise- Age 84, of Swartz Creek, passed away June 14, 2021. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Ricky Williams Officiating. Visitation 10 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Shiawasee County.
Louise was born December 20, 1936 in Marked Tree, AR, the daughter of Whit Harl and Leota May (Cupp) Yarbrough. She married Lloyd Spiegel in Waldenburg, AR December 24, 1952. She was a homemaker. Louise was a former member of West Flint Church of God where she taught Sunday School for many years. She later attended the Durand Church of God where she was the Director of the Nursery. She loved children, sewing, quilting, knitting crocheting, reading, flowers, and gardening.
Louise is survived by: her husband of 68 years, Lloyd Spiegel; children, Deb Dusenbury, Judy (Don) Arrand, Corrie (Ed) Wendt; grandchildren, Brian, Becky, Joshua, Faith, Zachery, Mareshah, Brad, and Sarah; 18 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sister, Geri Phillips; several nieces and nephews; best friends, Jim and Maxine Queen.
Louise was preceded in death by her son in law, Chuck Dusenbury; parents; 6 brothers; 3 sisters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
