STEWART, Fosteen A. “Tina” - Of Flint, age 94, died Monday, June 19, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, June 23, 2023 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2333 North Elms Road, Flushing,
The Very Reverend James Batcha officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Fosteen was born in Flint, Michigan on August 25, 1928, the daughter of the late Raymond and Nora (Murphy) Hopkins. In November of 1949, she married Victor Stewart. Tina loved our Blessed Mother. She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church and a founding member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Surviving are children, Lynn and husband George Moore, Mary Kay Anderson, William Stewart, Margaret and husband Tony Husted, Raymond Stewart and John Stewart;
many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, son, Jim Stewart, son-in-law, Jon Anderson and daughters-in-law, Vickie Stewart and Tracie Stewart.
