ANDERSON, Everett “Pete”– of Flint, age 91, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Minister Tim Roland officiating. Interment will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Davison Church of Christ, 10122 Lapeer Rd, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison Church of Christ.
Everett was born in Manson, AR on August 2, 1929, son of the late Jack and Oda (Meeks) Anderson. He married Colleen Moore on July 21, 1951 and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2020. Everett was a member of Davison Church of Christ and one time was a member of Lennon Road Church of Christ and Carpenter Road Church of Christ. They enjoyed helping others that included the poor, blind, disabled, the bus ministry and supported many missionaries through the years. Everett worked for Truck and Bus, Local #598, retiring in 1988. He was a very helpful handy man.
Everett is survived by his children, Karen Biyer, Gary (Lynetta) Anderson, Rhonda (Jason) Toye and Wayne (Cathy) Anderson; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members, church members and friends. He was preceded in death by twin sister, Lou Jean and brother, Paul; granddaughter, Andrea Spears.
