OGINSKY, Julia Of Essexville, formerly of Flint and Fenton, age
72, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the Toni & Trish House with her loving family present.
Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Omar Odette officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Toni & Trish House.
Visitation 11:30 a.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Julia was born in Flint, Michigan on December 27, 1949, the daughter of the late Michael and Charlotte (Pleadwell) Oginsky.
She was homecoming Queen and Cheerleader Captain of the first graduating class of Carman-Ainsworth.
Julia retired as Deputy Assessor for Fenton Township. After retiring in 2016, she moved to Essexville, where she became a full time grandma.
She was a devoted and loving mother and grandma (Nana). She left behind a legacy to her children, grandchildren and all those close to her of caring, nurturing and good humor.
Surviving are children, Wendy McInnis, Matthew McInnis, Dayna (Kris) Fournier;
6 grandchildren, Matthew J., Annabelle, Molly, Max, Eleanor, Emilia, and her furbabies;
3 siblings, Mary Ann (Gary) Chisholm, Jim (Judy) Oginsky and Greg Oginsky.
