GLEN DALE WALKER
JUNE 30th, 1934 – DECEMBER 16th, 2024
After 90 wonderful years on earth, Glen was called home to join his heavenly family on Monday, December 16, 2024. Glen was born in Alex, Oklahoma, on June 30th, 1934, as the son of the late Bertie (Durham) and Porter Walker.
On the beautiful day of August, 27th 1954, Glen married his true love, Jackie Stewart. He became a loving husband, proud father, and caring “Dad-All” (grandpa), and great grandfather.
He was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ, and found purpose in helping with H.I.S. Ministry.
He was a Journeymen Toolmaker and Skill Trades Supervisor at General Motors for over 30 years before retiring to spend his time with his family both in Michigan and down south. Glen’s life was filled with happiness that he would not only give but also gain from those around him.
Glen will continue to send his love from above to his two remaining children, Randy Glen Walker and Tracy (Mike) Parker; his 8 grandchildren, Courtney (Matt) Cox, Jesse (Tara) Adams, Amy Jacko, Amber (Casey) Stephens, Jordan Walker, Hayley, Jillian, and Laci Parker; 8 greatgrandchildren, Anthony, Walker, Kingston, Avalynn, Tenley, Lincoln, Emmy, and Aspen; and brother, Bob Walker.
He was met at Heaven’s gate by the love of his life Jackie, and his oldest daughters, (Glenda) Dianne Adams and (Gwendolyn) Denise Jacko.
Cremation has taken place as he is laid to rest alongside his wife at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to H.I.S. Ministries at Bristol Road Church of Christ.
