It saddens us to announce the passing of Keith Wray, also known as Pecco, at the age of 68. He passed peacefully in his sleep at his favorite hunting grounds.
Keith was the son of Lyle and Joyce (Cripps) Wray, and he was a graduate of Clio High School. Growing up he learned good work ethics while helping on the Wray Family Farm as well as the Cripp’s family farm. He worked as an auto parts salesman for 19 years, was the co-owner of Montrose Motors for 3 years, and he was a technician at the Ford Dealership for 25 years. Pecco retired a Ford man through and through. In his free time Pecco enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, racing, off-roading, shooting pool, and taking adventures on his motorcycle.
Pecco was many things to so many people. He was a beloved son, husband, dad, brother, uncle, grandpa, and he was a wonderful friend. He was, “The man, the myth, the legend.” Pecco truly had a heart of gold, always looking out for others with a helping hand. Let’s admit it, he was everyone’s favorite mechanic. Pecco had a love for people and people loved his sense of humor.
Pecco is forever loved by his wife, Tina (Royston) Wray; Daughter, Marida (Wray) Campbell; Grandchildren: Brandon Hodges, Alexis Campbell, and Hunter Campbell; Siblings: Kenneth (Judy) Wray and Kevin (Teresa) Wray. Pecco was preceded in death by: Mother and Father, Lyle and Joyce Wray; Sister, Pamela Wray.
Honoring Keith’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3PM Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1PM until the time of service. Livestreaming will be offered at the time of service. |
