David Waite, age 66, of the Attica/Lum, Michigan area, died Friday, October 18, 2024 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital.
David Gerald Edward Waite was born January 20, 1958 in Goodrich, Michigan. He is the son of the late Raymond and the late Geraldine (Dietz) Waite.
David grew up in Metamora, Michigan and graduated from Dryden High School, Class of 1977. He attended the Lapeer County Vocational Technical School for 3 years.
He married Bonnie Jo Forrest on August 12, 1978 in Dryden, Michigan. David and his wife Bonnie, have lived in the Lum area for over 30 years. David was employed by Avon Machining (formerly Avon Gear) in Shelby Twp., MI, working these last 15 + years as a CNC Machinist. David enjoyed camping, building small sheds, tinkering with almost everything, and putting up Christmas decorations for everyone to see. David also had a YouTube Channel that he used to entertain his friends and subscribers.
David is survived by: his wife, Bonnie Jo Waite of Lum, MI; daughter, Kathleen (Rob) Blank of Dryden, MI; his sons, Ricky Waite of North Branch, MI and Randy Waite of Vassar, MI;
Grandchildren, Taylor, Emerson, Coulter, Desirae (Ashton), Shavanaha, Madyson, Raymond, Skyler, Rocky; and his great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Jamison, Kinsley, Paislee, and Walkerann.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Jaime Leigh Waite; and his parents, Raymond & Geraldine Waite.
